A yoga practice that will go straight to your heart and fill you with love.

Compassion, love and respect. When you treat yourself with these three, you become them. This is what this yoga practice is all about. With specific poses and breathing we’ll target the heart with kindness and affection and get love moving through us.

Taking care of your mind and body brings peace and wholeness to your being. What a wonderful gift to give yourself on this Day of Love (aka Valentine’s Day).

Everyone is welcome. The focus is to enjoy the experience. Modifications will be provided for all levels. Yoga matts and props are available for use.

Recommended attire: comfortable clothes that have some stretch. Layers are encouraged.

These 60 min, sunny-day, all-level classes will be a mindful blend of strengthening, balancing and opening poses with just the right amount of relaxation. You’ll walk away feeling recharged and refreshed and a little more at peace.

Bring your own mat or fold a blanket; wear layers of comfortable athletic attire.

Everyone is welcomed. The focus is to enjoy the experience. Modifications will be provided for all levels.

For insurance purposes, ALL who wish to attend are required to sign a release form.

Yoga in Central Park Autumn Series

Fill your body and soul with the magic of fresh, crisp autumn air as we practice yoga in one of the most iconic parks in the world.

This series is for people who want a nice balance of exercise and peace in their lives during the change of seasons. These all-level yoga practices focus on gentle poses and deep breathing. Relax and restore while you fill yourself with the magic of fresh crisp autumn air. After the 60-min class we wrap our hands around warm cocoa topped with marshmallows to toast to an amazing start of the day.

You will need to bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have one, a large beach towel or folded blanket will work. Recommended attire: comfortable clothes that have some stretch; layers are encouraged.

At 10 AM we will meet on the front steps of the American Museum of Natural History, as north as possible. Subway stop 81st Street – Museum of Natural History Station; B & C trains. I will have a clipboard and sign.

After everyone has gathered and is registered, together we’ll walk to The Great Lawn. Yoga will start at 10:30 AM and will last for 60 minutes. Hot cocoa and marshmallows (provided) will be served immediately to follow.
