Summer time is the best time for going on road trips. Consider me to be your online personal stylist offering tips on how to pack for your next one with style and ease.
A few tips before you hit the road:
- Keep it simple; don’t load yourself down by packing too much. Think grab and go.
- I mention picking a light and a dark for colors. Pick one light and one dark and stick with them. Adding neutrals like grey or white works, too.
- Find travel-sized bottles for your pack lotions and potions in (i.e. shampoo and conditioner). Reuse and save the planet.
- And don’t forget your sun block!
What to pack:
2 pairs of shorts (one light color, one darker color)
1 belt to add a polished touch
1 tank top or halter-top
2 sleeveless and/or short sleeve blouses (one light color, one darker color)
1 long sleeve, button up, lightweight and breezy top
1 cardigan sweater
1 pair of legging (think texture or print)
1 pair of tennies
1 pair of flat sandals
Lip balm with high SPF
I didn’t mention this in the video but throw in a lightweight raincoat, too. Raincoats are a bit like Murphy’s Law. If you bring it, you won’t need it. If you forget it, you’ll need it. Also, don’t forget socks and other foundations (like bra and panties).
My styling isn’t about keeping up with the latest trends. It’s about celebrating each individual I work with, illuminating their own personality and style to help bring out their very best. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help.
